TESOL 2026 International Convention & Expo: March 2026

18th March, 2026

TESOL International Association hosts a range of in-person events throughout the year, designed for English language teaching professionals at all stages of their careers. These include major international conventions and smaller regional workshops, typically held in locations across the United States and other global hubs.

The flagship TESOL International Convention & Expo is one of the largest gatherings in the industry, bringing together thousands of teachers, trainers, and academic experts. Attendees can take part in seminars, panel discussions, and practical teaching sessions, all focused on the latest developments in English language teaching. TESOL’s renowned convention is where ideas thrive, global connections abound, and the future of English language teaching comes to life.

The event will take place on the 24th - 27th March 2026 at Salt Palace Convention Centre, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This year, expect keynote speeches from Carl Hernandez, Enilda Romero-Hall, Justin Shewell, and Nayr Ibrahim.

Events like these play an important role in the wider TEFL industry. They provide opportunities for teachers to stay up to date with new methodologies, gain practical classroom insights, and build international networks. In-person interaction, in particular, helps foster collaboration and idea-sharing in a way that supports both individual professional growth and the continued development of global English language education.
