Our Experience Workshop gives students a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. They'll explore what TEFL involves, the key elements of English they may one day teach, and the exciting pathways a TEFL career can open up around the world. Designed to offer real insight into whether TEFL is a route worth pursuing, the workshop includes practical activities such as ice breakers, a mock foreign language lesson, grammar review, and an introduction to the PPP model (Presentation, Practice, Production) and the use of realia. Students will also reflect on where a TEFL qualification can take them and explore the steps they can take to get started on their journey.

Our TEFL Experience Workshop is an ideal starting point for students curious about a future in TEFL or teaching more broadly. This engaging half-day session is packed with interactive activities that help students build confidence and develop key skills. Led by our experienced and highly qualified trainers, the course also offers valuable opportunities for students to ask questions, join in discussions, and gain a clearer understanding of the exciting global opportunities a TEFL career can offer.

Each session will run for approximately 3 hours. This includes the 4 activities, plus the careers discussion.

We are able to run two sessions on one day for larger student cohorts. We’d recommend no more than 21 students per session.

We recommend groups of no larger than 21.

Each session costs £600. Get a second session for £300 if booked for the same day as the first session (i.e. one morning session and one afternoon session).

We do not offer a per student price.

Once your Experience Workshop has been confirmed, we will send through a booking form and invoice to the school.
