EFL Teacher - Italy: Tropea
Next Gen English School are looking for an enthusiastic, learner-friendly and committed teacher who is willing and able to deliver engaging lessons to children and teenagers from complete beginners to C2 level.
Job Role
24 teaching hours per week from Tuesday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
On-site lessons with children and teenagers.
Weekly meetings to discuss personal well-being and student progress.
Salary and Benefits
The contract will be from late September 2025 until the end of May 2026 with possibility of renewal after end-of-year review.
Guaranteed net salary of 1100 euros per month.
Fully-equipped single occupancy apartment close to the school (rent and bills approx. 25% of salary).
Flight contribution and flight pick-up from Lamezia Terme Airport.
Assistance in settling in and any necessary admin.
All national holidays and public holidays (approx. 2 week at Christmas and 1 week at Easter).
Located in a small friendly coastal town with easy access to surrounding areas.
Didactic material including course books.
Large classrooms with smartboards.
Help with lesson planning and mentoring will be provided.
Wide range of resources available.
Requirements
CELTA or TEFL qualification.
At least 1 year teaching experience.
Recent teaching reference contacts.
Proven native-level English across all 4 skills.
Native level English speaker preferred.
Cover letter specifying motivation to join their team.
Open and friendly team member, keen to share ideas.
A teacher with the right to work in the EU or hold a valid work permit for employment in the EU.
All ELT plus experience will be considered.
Familiarity with Cambridge ESOL exams.
