Teaching with limited resources can be a challenging task. Depending on where you teach, the school may have vast amounts of resources, from laptops to interactive whiteboards, or very little resources. Completing this course will help you to prepare for the times you are faced with a lack of resources, as well as equip you with the skills to become more creative and resourceful in your lessons.

    When you’re teaching with limited resources, your classroom can provide all the resource you need. We’ll look at how we can do this.

    Textbooks aren’t a guarantee with EFL teaching. Knowing how to adapt your teaching effectively is extremely important.

  • Teaching without Listening Materials

    You won’t always have access to listening materials. Gathering authentic listening materials is key.

  • Activity Ideas & Fillers

    Being prepared is key. In this part of the course, we’ve gathered lots of limited resource activity ideas you can use in your own classroom.

  • Teaching with limited resources can be a very daunting and challenging task. Depending on where you go to teach, the school may have vast amounts of resources, from laptops to interactive whiteboards, or it may have very little resources. You may find yourself teaching in poorer countries, where resources are not available. Completing this course will help you to prepare for the times that you are faced with a lack of resources, as well as equip you with the skills to become more creative and resourceful in your lessons.

    The course takes approximately 10 hours to complete

    You will have 60 days to finish the course, allowing plenty of time to study at your own pace, when it is convenient for you. Perfect for those looking to fit their studying around other commitments!

    Compatible with laptops, computers, mobile phones and tablets, you can study at home or on the go. You can even download the App for your devices.   • This course includes one assessment consisting of ten questions, which you will need to achieve 75% or above to pass. The course is designed to challenge you, but there are no trick questions and the answers are all within the course.

  • I would recommend this course to anyone who has been teaching unqualified but has been teaching for a while and has gained a lot of experience and needs a teaching certificate to get their foot in the door somewhere. I've been teaching for a while, being awarded an 'In-house' certificate and gaining examiner status for most of the English Language Exams but was requested to have a teaching certificate more than 120 hours. That's why I would recommend the course - it's quick and as an experienced teacher, it was still useful to revise the basics!
