TEFL Teacher - Spain: Pontevedra, Galcia
LINGÜISH New School of English are looking for 2 TEFL teachers to join their team from January to June 2026.
Job Role
Teaching children from the age of 9, teenagers and adults both in groups and 1-to-1 classes.
Mostly afternoon classes with some morning classes.
Teachers are required to prepare and teach lessons, correct homework, attend occasional meetings and workshops, write short annual reports, and carry out simple administrative tasks etc.

The company offers the opportunity for newly-qualified teachers of English to gain experience with a reputable language school.
Contract.
Sample salary: part-time 25 hours/ week, 1200 Euros month gross. Additional hours available.
All salaries include holiday pay (Carnival and Easter), and all local, regional and national bank holidays are observed.

Pre-start date training, and on-the-job training and assistance throughout the year.

Accommodation is provided in a comfortable flat in the centre of town 2 minutes from the school sharing with other teachers. Rent and amenities deducted from pay at the end of the month.

Requirements
TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA or similar qualification.
Dynamic, fun-loving teachers with good people skills and a positive approach to teaching and learning.
Experience in TEFL teaching not essential.
Experience working with children a bonus.
No Spanish or Galician necessary.
Native level English speaker preferred.
They can only accept applications from EU citizens, or from candidates who already have the necessary permit to work in Spain. In the case of non-native/ native level applicants, a verifiable C2 certificate or proof of proficiency in English and broad knowledge of the culture of English speaking countries is required.
