English Teacher - Spain: Barcelona
Job Description
Master Languages Language Academy is looking for an English teacher to start in September, for part-time work (between 4 and 8 hours weekly).
Job Role
Conduct needs assessments of students to determine the best approach.
Prepare for lessons, including writing lesson plans.
Creating teaching materials.
Deliver lessons.
Follow set syllabus or text books if required.
Teach listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation.
Teach special areas such as Business English or Young Learners.
The classes will be with a variety of ages and levels, with also the possibility of in-company classes.
Tuesday & Thursday afternoon timetable 4pm-5pm, plus other afternoon/evening hours to be confirmed in September.
AVAILABILITY FOR TUESDAY & THURSDAY 16:00/16:15 TO 17:00/17:15 IS ESSENTIAL.
Salary and Benefits
A contract from mid-September to June with a finiquito at the end of the course.
Pay is between 17e/20e net per hour, depending on experience and the total hours worked.
Paid holidays at Christmas and Easter.
Professional training sessions by Cambridge University Press.

Requirements
Any teaching qualification valued especially a PGCE.
Native speaker level of English.
A NIE/DNI and social security number.
Preferably a degree.
At least 1 years relevant teaching experience.
Great enthusiasm for teaching children and teens.
