6 Days in Spain for Free!

This award-winning program gathers a group of English speakers and a group of Spanish professionals together in one of four beautiful hand-picked locations. For 6 days, you and other native speakers will converse only in English. Through the use of daily conversation, this total immersion technique produces incredible results for the learners, and gives you, as a volunteer, a fantastic opportunity to practice your skills outside of a classroom situation.  The English language is often an essential communication tool for Spanish professionals, so how great is it to think that you could help someone by simply speaking your native language?

How will this program benefit me? For many participants, this opportunity is a way to get to know Spanish people and culture first-hand, which is often difficult when travelling on your own.

There’s no teaching involved, how will this program help me? During the program you will not be doing any formal teaching at all, however, if you are interested in a career in English teaching and would like to move to Spain, the provider is the largest in-company English language training firm in the country with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Santander, Vigo, Valladolid, Valencia and Zaragoza; they constantly hire native speakers to join their team of teachers.

What’s the program schedule? All programs last 6 days and run from Sunday morning to Friday afternoon. Each day begins at 9am for breakfast, and one to one conversations run through to lunch at 2pm. After lunch, participants have free time until 5pm, where group activities and one-to-ones proceed until the entertainment hour at 8pm, with activities such as theatre, comedy, cultural presentations and karaoke. Dinner is at 9pm. Although structured, the schedule is very relaxed and allows for participants to explore the countryside, nearby towns and enjoy the venue’s amenities.
