This taster course consists of Part 1 of our 150 Hour TEFL Course and is full of interesting content to keep you engaged, including videos, lesson plans and a series of podcasts presented by Dani. Everything you need is in one place; no other materials are required to take the course. There are multiple quizzes, homework tasks and activities for you to complete.



Whether you are new to TEFL and looking to take your first steps into EFL teaching, or TEFL qualified and looking to further your training, this course is suitable for you. You don’t need any prior TEFL knowledge in order to take the course, as you will start with the basics; however the course is also popular with those who have taken a classroom course, but are looking to add additional training hours to their CV.

How long do I get to complete the course?

You have a week to test our platform out! After this time, you can choose to upgrade to a full TEFL course to continue your learning.

How long does the course take?

The course equates to around 10 hours of training. However, the exact length of time it takes to complete varies from person to person. It depends on how much time you devote to it and how quickly you grasp the content.

Where can I access the course?

The course is compatible with laptops, computers, mobile phones and tablets. So you can learn at home or on the go! You can also download the Litmos LMS app for free and access the course from there. Please note homework tasks must be completed offline and require a desktop. However, don't worry if you don't have the ability to do this, just let us know and we'll be happy to upload your tasks for you.

When will I get access to the course?

You'll get access to the course from the moment you sign up, just check your inbox for an email from Litmos with your login details.

Please be aware that there might be some delays in accessing the course for the first time over the weekend and bank holidays.

Do I have to live in the UK to take this course?

The course is online and can be accessed from any laptop, computer, mobile phone and tablet, which means that you don't have to live in the UK to take the course.

Is there an age limit on who can enroll?

The course is aimed at anyone; therefore there are no age restrictions.
