Charlotte began her teaching career by doing a CELTA, then went to China for 1 and a half years. On her return to the UK she worked in a language school in Manchester and then ran their International Foundation Programme. She went on to teach at UCLan and Lancaster Universities, alongside working as an Associate Lecturer for the Open University on their Academic English module.

Jenny completed her CELTA in Belfast and took up her first teaching role in Poland. She went on to teach in Australia and Taiwan before returning to the UK and fulfilling her long term ambition of becoming a CELTA teacher trainer.

After gaining her CELTA in the UK, Alex travelled to Barcelona and built up over five years experience in a variety of settings, teaching adults and children and producing numerous teaching resources. She returned to the UK to take on a Director of Studies role in London, and she now teaches TEFL classes in London in addition to her UK-TEFL courses.

Dani is UK-TEFL's Director of Studies as well as being a freelance TEFL trainer. Dani has a degree in Spanish and taught there for three years, and has settled back to the UK and is an integral part of the UK-TEFL team.

Liz has taught across Europe, training business professionals in-house for various organisations such as Deutsche Bank, and also teaching English and German. She has been involved in developing language learning materials for schools and has worked in various teaching roles in the Cumbria area. Liz enjoys walking in the Lake District near her home, and travelling overseas.

Ruthie Collins gained her TESOL at Oxford House Barcelona and has taught at several leading schools and companies in the UK, including EF, Twin and Fluency In English. After working for UK-TEFL for a year, she was filmed by BBC's Working Lunch at London Metropolitan University. She is also a published writer and columnist.

Christopher Mosley-Ferro

Chris has a BA (Hons) in Education & SEN and gained the CELTA qualification in 2007 in Seville, Spain. After qualifying, Chris proceeded to teach in Madrid for four years at a variety of institutions, including an intensive language school, the Spanish Military Academy, private hospitals, as well as in-company teaching. Chris has also taught in Brazil for three years.

Mike has worked as an EFL teacher in Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic. Mike currently works at Cambridge Regional College as an ESOL/EFL lecturer, and has previously worked with international students at Liverpool and Manchester Metropolitan Universities.

Michelle has over 14 years of experience working in the EFL sector. She completed her CELTA in London in 2003 where she taught for a brief period before moving to Thailand. She then went on to teach in Portugal, where she completed her DELTA, and Russia before returning to settle in Manchester.

Ellie completed her CELTA in 1997 in Madrid, and has been teaching abroad and in the UK, in cities such as London, Oxford and Bristol. She currently teaches for UK-TEFL in Cambridge, and is undertaking Trinity Diploma in English language teaching. Ellie also teaches history – with EAP elements – at the University of Leicester.

Patricia has taught English in Spain, mostly in Zaragoza and Tenerife, and has also taught Spanish, French and ESOL/EFL in the UK. Patricia completed a 2 year posting at the Ministry of Education in Ethiopia where she project managed the English Language Teacher Improvement Programme to improve the level of teacher training and teaching competency for school teachers in the country.

Diane has worked in the TEFL industry for over 10 years and has taught in Spain, Italy, Andorra and Scotland. Diane now lives in Edinburgh and teaches at a busy language school during the week. She enjoys running teacher training courses for UK-TEFL, where she is able to pass on her wealth of knowledge and experience to future EFL teachers.
