TRAVELLING TIPS - MAY 2010

Top Travelling Tips by Dani Mundy

  • Take your Tetley’s tea and curry powder as you may not be able to get them in your chosen destination!

  • Go to your local pound shop and stock up on stationary as you will need plenty. Also get lots of things to decorate classrooms like posters and nursery rhymes to brighten up classrooms! If you are going to be work with children think about arts and crafts that you may be making - get some crate paper, glitter, glue sticks and get creative!

  • Many countries don’t have Christmas crackers so take your own! Gives you a nice touch from home if you are away over the Christmas period.

  • Don’t take lots of books otherwise you might pay for it at the airport with excess luggage. It is a mistake many make by buying lots of reading materials and taking them away with them. Be selective! You don't want a huge excess luggage bill! (That's why we, at UK-TEFL, suggest Absolute TEFL PDF version is the perfect solution!)
