Tips for teaching one-to-one
|
|
1. Be prepared to participate more as a student as well as the teacher.
2. Keep up-to-date with your learner’s wants and needs to ensure progression and satisfaction.
3. Don’t just restrict instruction time to the classroom: go out if you can. This is great for functions practice, and is an interactive way to help your students learn.
4. Experiment with plenty of different teaching aids, such as music, DVDs, internet media clips etc, to improve class dynamics.
5. Have fun!
