Our 2 and 3 day standard TEFL courses are the first step on your journey to becoming an EFL teacher. You can enjoy the choice between studying at the weekend (Sat - Sun) or during the week (Mon - Wed) giving you the flexibility to find the perfect course to suit your requirements.

About the course: The interactive, classroom-based courses provide you with a comprehensive knowledge of teaching EFL to fully prepare you for your new role. You will cover aspects of English grammar, participate in a foreign language lesson and gain plenty of ideas for making your own lessons fun and engaging including activities and games. You will then put your new knowledge into practice by working in groups to plan and deliver a lesson on each day of your course.
By the end of the course, you will have gained a solid understanding of TEFL and the skills, knowledge and confidence to go off and teach! On passing you will receive an internationally recognised and accredited qualification, opening the doors to a fantastic range of employment opportunities here in the UK and overseas.

Who can apply? Our courses are open to everyone aged 16 or over with a good standard of English.
The 2 and 3 day courses are the best way to start a career in EFL teaching, and once you have completed your TEFL course, you can progress onto the next stage by specialising your skills with our Advanced TEFL certificate course.
