Programme Details
The first step for anyone wanting to apply for this position is to take a UK-TEFL 2 or 3 day course at one of our many locations throughout the UK.

You will be working in various primary and secondary schools for an indefinate length of time. The charity is happy to take applications from anyone who may be interested, for as much time as you can spare. You do not need a degree, nor do you need experience but both are desirable. Working with 3 to 18 years, the classes you will be teaching will be large, so this could be a fantastic challenge for any newly qualified EFL teacher. International teachers volunteer their time, pay their own costs and fundraise to help donate materials for their classes. Teaching English is only one aspect of our work. Volunteers are fully immersed into the community, mentoring children and training the community in eco-friendly technologies such as solar cooking. Activities include giving art classes, helping to build housing, setting up IT hardware donations, giving basic HIV/AIDS advice, playing games and football, and sharing music and dancing skills.
