Programme Details

The first step for anyone wanting to apply for this position is to take a UK-TEFL 2 or 3 day course at one of our many locations throughout the UK.
You must be a native English speaker with a bubbly character and a genuine interest in working with children, be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, punctual, tidy, show leadership qualities and management of outdoor activities. Italian is not required but useful.
You will be teaching children English by replacing books with games, songs and activities. As a teacher, you must only speak English throughout the duration of the camp, giving Italian children the opportunity to experience full-immersion in the English language, without leaving Italy. The selected candidates will benefit from an online training course organised by our experienced staff plus an onsite 4-5 days free training course in Sanremo which is an introduction to TEFL Oreintation Course. The camp program and didactic materials are provided by the staff.
The two week program has a focus on the "final show" for their parents. You will help the children create the show, completely in English - what a rewarding way to spend the summer!

Length of contract: 3 weeks - 1 week of unpaid training followed by 2 weeks paid work

Wage: 450 Euros per two week camp completed
