How do I go about getting a job in Dubai?
When you have obtained your TEFL certificate you can apply for a teaching job in Dubai. There are many schools and universities that are looking for both male and female English teachers.
Where do EFL teachers live?
Many employers offer free housing with the position, and if not the cost of living is surprisingly inexpensive.
Do I need to learn/speak Arabic?
It is not essential that you have knowledge of Arabic as English is commonly known and spoken.
What is the food like?
The best way to try some traditional food in Dubai would be to experience Arabic food which is commonly available in Lebanese, Iranian and Moroccan restaurants.
What will I do in the evenings, on days off or on my holidays?
With all your hand earned cash why not spend some time shopping, as this is what Dubai is famed for! If shopping isn’t for you, there are plenty of other things to keep you occupied.
