Paid Teaching Placements
If you are looking for a paid teaching placement, take a look at our PTP programmes. They're designed to take the stress out of teaching English overseas for the first time.
Our programmes will place you in paid jobs, in selected countries, for contracts ranging between six and twelve months.
We currently have paid placements in China, South Korea,Vietnam, Tunisia and Bahrain.

When do placements start? |
|
Placements start all year round depending on which country you want to teach in. To find out more, click on the country you are interested in:

How easy is it to get a job? |
|
It is easier to get a job abroad than in the UK. Places like China, Vietnam and Bahrain have a high demand for English teachers so you are very likely to get a job there.

How long do placements last? |
|
Contracts for paid teaching placements range between six and twelve months.

What's the pay like? |
|
The pay varies from country to country but it will all be relative and the more hours you teach, the more you will get paid.

Where and who will I be teaching? |
|
You will be based in a private language school teaching children of various age groups. There is also the opportunity to teach out of hours to adults and teaching one to one.
|

Do I need to speak the local language? |
|
The only language you will need to speak is English although you may want to learn the basics of the local language for getting around. Most, or all, of the staff in language schools are English speakers.
On arrival you will get picked up from the airport and taken to your destination.

What's included? |
|
Accommodation is included - this tends to be an apartment shared with another teacher.

How do I apply? |
|

Do I need a degree? |
|
A degree is not essential but it is preferable. However, for South Korea and Bahrain, you do need a degree to get the correct work permit.
A good CV can help greatly if you don't have a degree.
