The only language you will need to speak is English, although you may want to learn the basics of the local language for getting around. Most, or all, of the staff in language schools are English speakers.

All lessons are full immersion into English, so no prior knowledge of other languages are needed.

What's included?

Most placements include accommodation, which is a shared apartment, with your own bedroom and shared facilities.

If your placement does not include accommodation, the recruiter will help you source suitable accommodation.

How do I apply?   First of all, you need to decide which country you want to teach in and then email your interest to jobs@uk-tefl.com. Or you can speak to a TEFL advisor on 0871 222 1231.

Do I need a degree?   A degree is not essential but it is preferable. However, for South Korea you do need a degree to get the correct work permit.
