UK-TEFL intensive training courses are an established route to becoming an employable English teacher. You will be awarded a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) on successful completion of the course. This is an internationally recognised qualification and will allow you teach English in the UK and overseas.
Our practical courses take place over two days, on a weekend at the Ibis Hotel in Southampton City Centre.
There is a private car park with ample space available close to the hotel.

In the past, students have come from Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Weymouth, Plymouth and Exeter to attend the UK-TEFL weekend TEFL courses in Southampton.
The Ibis is opposite Southampton Central train station.
At this location tea/coffee is provided, however lunch is not. Lunch is available onsite at the bar (snacks) and at the restaurant.
There are up to 20 students on each course.

Yes, NCFE has awarded UK-TEFL with its Investing in Quality licence which gives formal recognition to our in-house programmes. NCFE is a recognised awarding organisation.
UK-TEFL courses are between £200 and £250 depending on the location and duration. This includes the course, refreshments and your course certificate.
The You must be aged sixteen or over to enrol on a UK-TEFL course.
