TEFL COURSES IN EXETER

UK-TEFL intensive training courses are an established route to becoming an employable English teacher. You will be awarded a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) on successful completion of the course. This is an internationally recognised qualification and will allow you teach English in the UK and overseas.

 Our practical courses take place over two days, on a weekend at the Jury's Inn Hotel in Exeter.

Is there parking available at the Jurys Inn Exeter hotel?

 Parking is available at the NCP car park on Summerland street for a charge.

How far away is the Jurys Inn Exeter from Exeter Central train station?

The Jurys Inn Exeter is a ten minute walk from the Central station, and twenty minutes walk away from St David's station.

Where do students attending the Exeter UK-TEFL course come from?

 In the past, students have come from Plymouth, Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, Weston-Super-Mare and Weymouth to attend the UK-TEFL weekend TEFL courses in Exeter.  

Are there any lunch facilities at The Jurys Inn Exeter Hotel?

 At this location tea/coffee is provided, however lunch is not. There is a bar within the hotel where you can purchase lunch, or there are a selection of cafes a short walk away from the hotel in the city centre.

How many people attend the course?

 There is a maximum of around 20 students on each course. Usually the actual classroom numbers are smaller than this.

Is UK-TEFL an accredited training provider?

Yes, UK-TEFL have been awarded Part B accreditation on the Investing in Quality licence which gives formal recognition to our in-house programmes.  Students can opt in to be formally assessed on their course to receive an NCFE issued certificate of achievement. NCFE is a recognised awarding organisation and further information on our accreditation and the NCFE can be found here>

After the Standard Course, is there any further training that I can do?

The UK-TEFL Advanced Certificate Course is a great top up or refresher after completing the UK-TEFL Standard Course. The Advanced Course will Specialise in Teaching Business English, Teaching English to Young Learners, Teaching to Advanced Learners and One-to-One Teaching. This 2 day course is available nationwide and is priced at £200.

How much do the standard courses cost?

UK-TEFL courses are between £200 and £250 depending on the location and duration. This includes the course, refreshments and your course certificate.

How old do I need to be to enrol on a course?

The  You must be aged sixteen or over to enrol on a UK-TEFL course.
